A Smarter Way to Inspect

It might be something simple, like a few slipped tiles, or something that needs a bit more care, like structural damage or signs of hazardous material. Whatever’s found, we’ll capture it clearly so you can see the full picture. Our work covers rooftops, chimneys, perimeter lines and, if it’s safe, internal areas too — so nothing’s left unseen.

The usual way of doing inspections can be a pain. You’ve got scaffolding going up, cherry pickers to hire, and time lost waiting for people to get into position. Using drones changes that completely. We can cover more ground, work faster, and stay safe while getting the same level of detail — often better.

Every flight we carry out is done by a CAA-approved pilot, and the company’s both fully insured and Drone Safe Registered. That means everything we do is safe, compliant, and backed by proper qualifications. The footage comes through in crisp 4K, making it easy to zoom in, check details, and share with whoever needs to see it.

Aerial and Ground Inspections from Portal Drones

We find the best results come from using both methods side by side. The drones handle the high-up work — roofs, gutters, chimney stacks — while the ground checks let us get close enough to see the things that really matter.

Using drones means we can easily reach places that are awkward or unsafe to access — roofs, gutters, chimney stacks, and upper walls. Once we’ve covered those, the ground work helps pick up the smaller things: hairline cracks, loose fixings, or signs of water damage. It’s the mix of both that makes the results clear and reliable.

Every job starts with a bit of planning. We look at the layout, think about access, check the weather, and map out a safe route before the drones even take off. That bit of care early on saves time later and keeps the inspection smooth, safe, and accurate from start to finish.

Complete Peace of Mind from Portal Drones

When you work with Portal Drones, you don’t just get a folder of aerial photos and a handshake. We’ll go through everything with you — what we’ve found, what might need a closer look, and what’s worth keeping an eye on for the future.

Everyone on our team’s got hands-on experience, so we know what to look for and how to get the right shots without overcomplicating things. We want you to walk away with answers, not just a set of images. By keeping things straightforward and explaining what we find in plain terms, you’ll finish up with a clear understanding of your property and what, if anything, needs attention.
